He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Walsh, II and Marie Agnes Vedder Walsh; his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Marlene Wagner Walsh; his son David A. Walsh; and his sister Emily Dinova.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey E. Walsh (Kathryn) of Hamer, SC, Keith A. Walsh (Joy) of Bristol, TN, James J. Walsh (Michelle) of Bishopville, SC, E. J. Walsh (Kim) of Dillon and Catherine "Kitsy" Walsh Hunt (Dwayne) of Dillon; and his siblings, Mary Catherine "Sue" Walsh Fitzgerald of Cohoes, NY and Charles "Chuck" Walsh of Dillon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
