We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2023, at the age of 78, Edward Legrand McKenzie of Dillon, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Johnsie Coley McKenzie; and his siblings, Johnny McKenzie (Joan) of Lake View and Linda Johnson (Joe) of Lincolnton, NC.. He is survived by : his son Edward Leary McKenzie (Katie); his granddaughter Madison Katie McKenzie; his stepdaughters, Mary Alice Deaver of Dillon, Patricia Ann Bohachic (Jimmy) of Dillon and Ruby Lee Brumble of Dillon; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Reaves (Jane), Nickie Williams, Jimmy Brumble, Jr. (Debbie), Michael Terrence Brumble, Robert Charles Ray (Sharon), James Mikey Bohachic (Mary), Johnsie Elizabeth Bohachic and John Coley Bohachic (Candace); and his sister Joyce McKenzie Petts of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Legrand's name to the Dillon Kiwanis Club and St. Jude.
