She was predeceased by : her parents, Guy Edward and Alma Miles Moore; her husband Hardy Alton Pelt, Sr.; her sons, John Edward Pelt and Richard David Pelt; and her siblings, Fred Moore, Arthur Moore, Louise George, Leila Cottingham and Sarah Bailey.

She is survived by : her children, Hardy Alton Pelt, Jr. of McBee, SC, Marie Pelt Collins (Freddie) of Marion, SC and Elaine Pelt Todd of Lumberton, NC; and her daughter-in-law Susanne Pelt of Latta, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
