He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sherill Dew and Louise Altman Dew; his stepdaughter Rebecca Ann Miller of Sellers, SC; his granddaughters, Chelsea Johnson (Justin) and Kimberly Dejarnette (Daniel); his great grandchildren, James Miller and Daniel Dejarnette, III; and his wife Betty Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Life Assembly (2470 US-301, Dillon, SC 29536).
