He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland Lee Douglas and Ruth Rowell Douglas. He is survived by : his daughter Lisa Altman (Keith); his brothers, Preston Douglas of Florida and Wayne Douglas (Pam); his niece Shannon Bryant of Dillon; his grandchildren, Joshua Powers, Cody Altman, Gabriel Douglas, Kimberly Altman, Cole Altman, Nick Byrd and Taylor Ray; and his close friend Lonnie Evans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
