He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Edward Hopkins and Idelle Steele Hopkins; and his wife Merle Hopkins. He is survived by: his children, Kim Hyatt (Billy) of Latta and David Hopkins of Latta; his siblings, Jimmy Hopkins, Russell Hopkins of Dillon and Gaye Hopkins Graham (Gary) of Dillon; his grandchildren, Tyler Hyatt, Kayla Morrell (Chandler), Mason Powers, Jacob, Avery and Daylan Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Delilah, Norah Belle and Tinsley; and his pet Daisy Mae.
