He was predeceased by : his mother Nancy Edwards Polson. He is survived by : his sister April Lane (Stephen) of Marion; his children, Jessica Rogers (Dwayne), Taylor Polson (Keith) of Latta and Zack Polson (Jessyca) of Latta; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicholi, Kendra, Kashton, Kimberly, Blaire and Skylar.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
