He is survived by: his father Leo Matthews, Sr.; his wife Patricia Sawyer Matthews of Dillon; his children, Sharon Matthews Kolb of Little River, SC, Leo Matthews (Matt) and Jennifer Matthews Roberts (Ben) of Florence; his grandchildren, Schylar Wilkens, Logan Turnage, Jaedean Landry, Chandler Matthews, Alexis Matthews, Holden Matthews, Carleigh Matthews, Aiden Matthews, Sawyer Matthews, Addilyn Roberts and Delaney Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Karma and Jaxson.
