We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 97, Leslie Edwin McKenzie (Dillon, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion McKenzie and Ezzie Moody McKenzie; his wife Beatrice "Bea" Arnette McKenzie; his siblings, Paul Leland McKenzie, Francis Marion "Junior" McKenzie, Jr., Louise McKenzie Ball and Miriam McKenzie; and his great grandchild Donovan Kurtz.
He is survived by: his children, Edwin McKenzie of Hamer, Linda McKenzie, Larry McKenzie (Melanie) of Lexington, SC and John McKenzie (Ginny) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Lisa Hagan (Byron), Christy Kurtz (Lance), Marian Rea (Curtis), Leslie Phillips (Ryan), Lauren McKenzie and Travis McKenzie (Kelly); and his sister Betty Carolyn McKenzie. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
