He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie M. Pullie and Sallie Cook Pullie; his wife Janice A. Pullie; his son David Hugh Pullie; and his siblings, James J. Pullie, Robert Pullie, Elsie Walters and Evelyn Brumbles.

He is survived by: his son Stephen Lester Pullie (Carole) of Lexington, SC; his siblings, George Melton Pullie of Latta, SC, Larry Pullie of Latta, SC, Lois P. Woodle of Lata, SC, Lelia P. Smith of Lata, SC and Kay P. Williams of Spartanburg, SC; and his grandchildren, Connor Stephen Pullie and MariKatherine Elizabeth Pullie of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
