He is survived by: his wife Helen Shanabarger; his daughters, Dora Bell, Laura Kay Davis (Christopher), Jessica Shanabarger and Rebecca Martin (Dennis); his sister Mary Jones of Elkview, WV; and his sister-in-law Virginia Shanabarger of Philippi, WV. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
