She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Lee Hargrove and Thelma Taylor Hargrove; and her daughter Malinda Powers. She is survived by: her husband Thomas C. Byrd; her mother-in-law Marie Byrd of Dillon; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Byrd (Deborah) of Dillon and Gen Flowers (Burt) of Dillon.
