She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charlie Herring and Rachel Allen Herring; her husband Leon Herring; her son Julian Hasty; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hasty; and her siblings, Fronie Rogers, Clearsie Watts, Cora Legette, Winnie Herring, Haley Herring Jones, Guy "Bud" Herring, Elvie Herring, Henry Herring, John Herring, Leroy Herring, William Charlie Herring, William Jim Herring and Solomon "Dick" Herring.
She is survived by: her sons, Arthur Franklin Hasty III (Peggy) of Lake View and Henry "Andy" Hasty (Donna) of Dillon; and her grandchildren, Ashley Wing (Kevin), Justin Hasty (Courtney), Britni Hartis (Nathan), Carrie Mew (Adam), Dr. Brent A. Hasty (Lauren) and Arthur Franklin Hasty IV (Christie).
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (1625 SC-57, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
