With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Tyler Barrentine of Dillon, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 27. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Carolyn Outlar, Milton Barrentine and Frances Lovelace; his uncles, Hans Mullinax and Eddie Barrentine; his close friends, Billy Lane and Nick Lane; and his cousins, Shane Cook and Kevin Outlar.
He is survived by: his parents, Anthony Gerard Barrentine of Latta and Sandra Outlar Barrentine (Roger Meekins) of Dillon; his brother A. J. Barrentine (Cheslea) of Dillon; his girlfriend Tabby Arnette; his sibling's children, Ryleigh Barrentine, Nevaeh Barrentine and Cole Barrentine; his aunts, Lori Campbell, Jennie Cook and Tammy Mullinax; his uncle Johnny Lovelace (Lynn); his cousins, Ricky Cook (Haylie), Ronnie Outlar (Miranda), Kailyn Ivey, Chris and Christy Stone; his close friends, Tracy Brumbles and Amanda Roberts; and his pets, Batman, Sadie and Zoey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
