He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmie Gaddy and Gertrude Hyatt Gaddy; and his siblings, Billy Gaddy, Tom Gaddy, Ida Mae Hayes, Mildred "Pee Wee" Cook and Barbara Ann Baker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jack Gaddy of Burlington, NC, Frank Gaddy of Burlington, NC and Mary Frances "Pat" Bazea of Sumter, SC; and his niece Jerri Page.
