He was predeceased by: his parents, Tallie Monroe Hardee and Josie Lee McDowell Hardee; and his brother Nathan Lennie Hardee. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Clark Hardee of Dillon; his children, Ngoc Hardee of Panama City, FL, Janie Monroe of Panama City, FL, Lisa Parales of Panama City, FL and Anthony Hardee of Denton, TX; his stepchildren, William E. Celmer, Jr. of Dillon and Lillie Nicole Celmer of Dillon; his great grandchildren, Kai Chapman and Lyla Chapman; his nephew Chris Edmonds; and his sisters, Sylvia Shankle, Tammera "Tammy" Castillo and Pandra "Pandy" Hardee. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536).
