She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Evans Kersey and Hattie Sue Nolan Kersey; her siblings, Virginia Lane, Joyce Cook, Lizzie Lane, Howard Kersey, J. T. Nolan and E. J. Kersey; and her niece Wanda Jean Lane.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon McCoy (Larry Sullivan) of Latta; her siblings, Sarah K. Barfield of Bennettsville and Clarence "Coon" Kersey (Barbara) of Latta; her siblings-in-law, Linda Kersey of Latta and Edward Lane of Latta; and her grandchildren, Peyton McCoy and Weston Sullivan. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; 11 great- nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
