He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Michael Hopkins, Janice Welch, Bobby Hopkins, Mary Carmichael Jones, Denise Carmichael Hodge, Mike Carmichael and Lee Carmichael; and his sister-in-law Patsy Carmichael.
The military honors was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (1252 SC-57, Dillon, SC 29536).
