With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theo Lyfon Lane of Dillon, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Campbell Lane and Clara Belle Rogers Lane; and his former wife Becky Stubbs Lane. He is survived by: his wife Lou Chapman-Lane of Dillon; his sons, Theo Lane, Jr. of Greenwood, SC, James Campbell Lane (Justin Dagit) of Columbia, SC and Robert Stubbs Lane of Greenwood, SC; his stepdaughters, Belinda Chapman Rhodes (Dusty) of Prosperity, SC, Patty Chapman Barksdale (David) of Brooks, GA, Lisa Chapman Lara of Dillon and Paulette Chapman Rogers (Michael) of Dillon; his grandchildren, Rixon Lane (Samantha) of Richmond, KY and Colby Lane of Woodruff, SC; and his siblings, Bobby C. Lane of Temperance Hill and Carolyn W of Marion. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
