He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monahan and Mary Louise Byrd Monahan. He is survived by: his wife Jana Scharff Monahan; his children, William Robert Monahan of Lake View, SC, Ja'Mara Lynn Monahan of Latta, SC and Kelly Gray Monahan-Sturgeon (B. J.) of Dillon, SC; his siblings, Woody Monahan (Kathy) of Dillon, SC, Jim Monahan (Holly) of Blue Ridge, GA, Robert Monahan (Annette) of Rowland, NC, Shirley Monahan of Latta, SC, Virgina Daniels of Latta, SC and Debbie Chapman (Jeff) of Granite Falls, SC; his sister-in-law Sharon Monahan; his grandchildren, Morgan Carter, Ana Tindall, McKenley Hyatt, Aydan Sturgeon, Luke Nettles, Leah Nettles, Lana Harlow and Lara Harlow; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Bryleigh, Baylor and Keelan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
