He was predeceased by: his parents, K. P. Lewis and Louise Johnson Lewis; his former wife Shirley J. Haselden Lewis; his children, Tommie Dawn Lewis, Edgar Parker Lewis and Thomas Gene Lewis; his siblings, Gerald Lewis, Charles Lewis, Robert Lewis, Christine Herring, Janelle Collier, Juanita Blackmon and Elsie Lorene Turner; and his grandson Nicholas Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lane Lewis of Dillon; his sons, Raymond Earl Lane (Bonnie) of Dillon and Bobby Joe Lane (Jennifer) of Dillon; his grandchildren, Ryan Lane, Brandi Knight, Brooke Lane and Amber Lane; his godsons, Matthew Darmon and Kyle Darmon; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Lewis and Dorman Collier. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
