He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Godbolt and Bessie Hood Godbolt; and his siblings, Gene Howard Godbolt, Bobby Godbolt, Glenn Godbolt, Shirley Godbolt and Kathy Godbolt.
He is survived by: his close friend Miriam Paulette Hill of Lake View, SC; his children, Connie G. Anderson (Johnny) of Latta, SC, Kathy G. Heffernan (Scott), Leslie G. Miller (Eric) of Sellers, SC and Aubrey Michael Godbolt (Shelley) of Dillon, SC; his stepchildren, Pam Sweet (Barry) of Greenville, SC and Robert Boatwright of Myrtle Beach; his brother Richard Godbold (Frankie) of Marion, SC; his granddaughter Danna Gray; his nephews, Randy Godbolt and Ricky Godbold; and his pets, Amanda and Nubby. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
