He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Arnette and Pearlie Butler Arnette; and his siblings, Albert, Clarence, Clyde, Gentry, Floyd, Beatrice, James, Eddie, Esther and Monroe Arnette.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kitty" Arnette of Dillon; his sons, William Michael Arnette (Amanda) of Dillon, Patrick Alan "Pat" Arnette (Jackie) of Dillon and James Warren "Jamie" Arnette (Kathy) of Dillon; his grandchildren, Christopher Arnette (Crystal), Sara Katherine Horne (Ryan) and William James Arnette; his stepgrandson Connor Hyatt; his great grandchildren, Micah Hunter Arnette and Adelyn Grace Arnette; and his sister Rosa Mae Stone of Rowland, NC..
