He was predeceased by : his parents, Crawford Garland Arrington and Josephine Wheeler Arrington; and his siblings, Harriet Shooter, Wilhelmina Lee, Carol Lewis, Sally Shooter, Rebecca "Polly" Lee, Mildred "Peggy" A. Carmichael, Edward Dudley Arrington, Garland Arrington and Herbert Arrington.
He is survived by : his wife Guynelle Grantham Arrington of Dillon; his children, Cindy Arrington of Dillon, William Arrington, Jr., Ernie Arrington and Stephen Arrington (Emily) of Dillon; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Owens (Justin), Summer Arrington, Kyle Arrington and Zackary Arrington; his cousin Jimmy Arrington (Dianne); and his brother-in-law Derrick Grantham (Janice). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
