He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Lester Owens and Cora Lee Freeman Owens; his children, Joey Owens and Joyce Owens; and his brothers, James Owens, Lester Owens, Colon Owens and Wayne Owens.
He is survived by : his children, Crystal Norton (John) of Little Rock, William Owens, Jr. and Stevie McDowell (Brenda) of Latta; and his siblings, Annie Ward of Lake View and Carl Owens (Sandra) of Dillon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
