He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Wethington Allen; and his son Michael William Allen. He is survived by: his father William Leonard Allen, Sr.; his wife Patsy Ruth Herring Allen; his son Mitchell Leonard Allen; his granddaughter Michelle Byrd (David) of Dillon; his great grandchildren, Cassidy Roberts (Ryan), Cameron Pelt and Carli Haselden; and his great great grandchild Brynley Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, great nieces and great-nephews.
