She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Andrew Miller and Gladys Pruitt Miller; her husband James E. Byers, Sr.; her siblings, Marion Smith, Andrew Miller Jr., Beatrice Young, Esque Miller and Fred Miller; and her grandson Jamaal Byers.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jameica B. Hill (Jason) of Spartanburg and James E. Byers, Jr. (Regina) of Belton; her sister Martha M. Frasier of Donalds; her grandchildren, Dr. Shelby Hill, Jason Hill, II (Alana), Jarena Byers and Jaren Byers; her great grandchildren, Zariah Byers, Zalaia Byers, Avaa Byers, Za'Vierre, Jason Hill, III and Bryce Hill; her siblings-in-law, Juanita Miller, Bernice Miller, Larry Byers and Charles Byers; and her friend Virgil Stackhouse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
