He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harris and Martha Stier Harris; his brother James Harris; and his father-in-law Jerry E. Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Penny Louise Kennedy Harris; his sons, Donald Jerry "D. J." Harris of Honea Path and Stephen Charles Harris of Donalds; his siblings, Chuck Harris (Feda) of Seneca, Ron Harris of Hammond, IN and Joan Marie Harris of Hammond, IN; his grandchildren, Paige, Madison, Makayla, Jacob, Lilly and Charles; his mother-in-law Louise Kennedy; and his sister-in-law Devita McGregor of Honea Path. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
