It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Poplin Hilton of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her spouse L. N. Hilton, Jr.; her mother Olivia Hodge Poplin; her brother William Poplin; her daughters, Deborah Behie (Bill), Patsy Hilton and Janet Hilton; her grandsons, Nathan Behie (Lauren) and Jimmy Behie (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Chandler Pafford (Dean), Kaylee, Sutton, Maggie, Whitlee and Grahame Behie; her great great grandchild Luke Pafford; and her friends, Miss Viola Felder, Miss Levern Lemon and Miss Rose Jefferson.
