He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Lewis and Jestine Hayes Lewis. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Lewis (Shirley) of Reevesville, SC; his niece Hattie Martino of St. George, SC; his close friend Augustine Polite; and his cousin Evelyn Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brown and Son Funeral Home (5901 W Jim Bilton Blvd, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mark Baptist Church (129 Alice Ln, Dorchester, SC 29437).
