Capps of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Troy Capps and Edith Walters Capps; his siblings, Jennings Capps and Izzie Brown; and his grandson Wesley Capps.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Capps of Dorchester, SC; his sons, Troy Leo Capps (Kimberly) of Hanahan, SC and Shane Capps (Heather) of Ridgeville, SC; his sisters, Dru Strickland-Ackerman (Marc) of Charleston, SC, Milner Strickland (Norman) of Huger, SC, Joyce Farmer of Barnesville, SC and Geneva Harrelson of Conway, SC; and his grandchildren, Troy Leo Capps II, Hanna Capps, Kaitlyn Marley (Tom), Gracyn Capps, Kylee Liston, Kaden Liston and Emma Grace Kornahrens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
