He was predeceased by: his parents, Roddey Stevenson Ellis, Jr. and Mary Frances Ellis; his brother Reid Ellis; and his nephew Bowen Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellis of Greenville; his sons, Steven Ellis (Molly) of Johns Island and Sloan Ellis (Brittany) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Avery Ellis, Anna Jane Ellis, Claire Ellis and Benjamin Ellis; and his brother Betts Ellis (Traci) of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
