With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amos Ballenger of Duncan, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Amos shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Amos farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos June and Rosa Lee S. Ballenger; and his grandmother Ruby Scott. He is survived by: his wife Norys Ballenger; his children, Whitney Broxton (Tony) of Greer, SC, Desiree Ballenger of Duncan, SC, Chasity Ballenger of Duncan, SC, Terry Johnson (Brianna) of Greer, SC and Rodrick Ballenger of Greer, SC; his brother Angelo Ballenger (Samatha) of Greer, SC; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
