With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin Eugene Plemmons (Duncan, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther B. Plemmons and Geneva Hall Plemmons; and his brothers, Charles Thurmon Plemmons and Henry Plemmons. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Blackwell Plemmons; his children, James Plemmons (Wanda), Sandra Farley and Rita Simmons (William); his grandchildren, Chance Plemmons, Madison Simmons (Robert Gregory), Taylor Simmons, Chyenne Poteat, Dillan Farley, Dakota Sewell (Libby), Ashley Stribling (Travis), Ann Marie Smith (Chris), Mark Hopper (Stephanie) and Mandy Hopper; and his great grandchildren, Trevor, Kamryn, Ryder Stribling, Baily, Wendelyn, Abigail Smith, Alyssia, Melanie, Ella Hopper, Emily and Anna Crowe.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM.
