He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Johnson, Jr. and Frances Snow Johnson Clayton; his wife Judy McSwain Johnson; his son Daniel Johnson, Jr. (Danny); and his siblings, Brenda Johnson, Donald and David Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Brad Johnson; and his grandsons, Brock and Cole Johnson.
