He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Martha Ponder Garner; and his brother Jimmy Garner. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Stevens Garner; his children, Emily Stevens, Matthew Stevens and David Allen Garner; his siblings, Richard "Bud" Garner (Paulette) and Joan Frady (Danny); and his grandchildren, Abby Bramblett, Luke Garner, Noah Garner, Caleb Stevens, Parker Stevens, Chandler Stevens and Scarlet Stevens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
