He is survived by: his wife Jennie Godfrey Weathers; his children, Jan Henson (Brian) and Christopher Weathers; his siblings, Johnny "JB" Weathers, Bobby Weathers and Louise Giles; and his granddaughter Hannah Grace Henson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Selma Baptist Church (850 Lawson Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388).
