She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Samuel and Sinney Elizabeth Bennett Harris; her spouse Broadus Atkins (Bud); and her grandchildren, Mark, Madison and Gabriel.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Rhymer, Gail Howard, Cathey Atkins, Rhonda Vess (Tony), Bud Atkins (Renee), Sherry Cobb and Tina Livingston (Philip); and her brother Tommy Harris. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
