We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 94, James Edward Burnett (Duncan, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Burnett and Beulah Kate Owens Burnett. He is survived by : his spouse MarcHellon Gilmer Burnett; his children, James "Jimmy" Burnett, Jr., Joe Burnett (Susan) and Renee Peace (Pete); his grandchildren, Corrie Peace, Leslie Roper (Derek), Joshua Burnett, Dusty Peace (Nikki) and Leigh Ann Wilkinson (Michael); his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Elizabeth, Will, Ryan, Breah, Eli, Eva, Olivia and Sienna; and his great great grandchildren, Katie, A. J. and Langston.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Care Baptist Church (849 Fairmont Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29301). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
