He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin James and Mildred Dobson Dempsey. He is survived by : his wife Connie Pearson Dempsey; his son Joseph "Joe" James Dempsey (Paulette) of Duncan; his sister JoAnn Gentry; his grandchildren, Amanda Rhymer Onufer (Jonathan), Courtney Anderson (Josh) and Sydney Cole (Dray); and his great grandchildren, Abby Webber, Ava Johnson, Rowan Anderson, Myles Anderson, Reeves Anderson and Lukah Cole.
