In loving memory of John William Hughes of Duncan, South Carolina, who departed this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 79. John William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Harold Hughes, Sr. and Nell Inabinet Hughes of Duncan; and his brother Joe H. Hughes, Jr. of Stillwater, OK.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hughes; his sister Nancy H. Lynn (Butch Lynn) of Wellford; his son Scott Hughes (Jessica Hughes) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Foster, Prescott, Charles and Emily; his daughter Stacy Tapp (David Tapp) of Greer; his grandchild Ivey; his sons, Bryce and Conner; his siblings-in-law, Fred Turner of Spartanburg, Shelby Denton of Duncan and Gerald Turner (Kay Turner) of Greer; his pet Annie; Amy Page of Duncan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
