She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Joseph and Lillian Mae Parris Knighton; her husband Joseph Harold Barnette; and her siblings, Dot Berkes, Beattie Medlock, Margaret Lamb, Shelby Pearson, Wilbur Knighton, Cliff Knighton and Marvin Knighton.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Jolley (Glenn), Susan Thrasher (David) and Lamar Barnette (Donna); her siblings, Donnie "Pete" Knighton, Terry Knighton and Betty Nelson; her grandchildren, Tracie Duncan (Tim), Michael Jolley (Jenna), Brianna Barnette, Jasmine Blackstock and Scott Barnette; and her great grandchildren, Carter Jolley, Sadie Duncan and Mackenzie Jolley.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Duncan Church of Christ (1234 S Danzler Rd, Duncan, SC 29334).
