She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermógenes Tejada López and Maria Romelia Ayala Portillo. She is survived by: her children, Stephany Mejia Ayala, Belkys Ayala, Gabriel Ayala, Heimel Mejia Ayala and Kevin Mejia Ayala. She is also survived by eight brothers; and nine grandchildren.
