It is with sadness that the passing of Marie Baker Goodman (Duncan, South Carolina) is shared. Marie Baker, born on June 17, 1931, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry David and Rowena Wasson Baker; her husband James Goodman; and her sister Barbara Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Donna G. Thigpen (Lynn), James D. Goodman (Lisa) and Jerry R. Goodman (Kelli); her brother David Baker (Cecile); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Ansley, Meredith, Grant, Rob, Alex and Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
