He was predeceased by: his parents, John C Barton and Elizabeth Gosnell Barton; his daughter Bridgette Noel Barton; and his siblings, Johnny Barton and Bernice Barton.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Price Barton; his children, Rebecca Yonts (John), Sheyanne Barton (Devante Chung), Matthew Barton (Crystal) and Marshall Biggs (Tonya); his siblings, Glenn Barton (Eloise), Joe Barton (Vickie), Robbie Barton (Gwen) and Darlene Rios (Jesse); his grandchildren, Anslye Yonts, Ethan Barton, Ivey Barton, Kimberly Yates and Kendall Wassink; his sister-in-law Rhonda Price; his niece Miranda Hopson; and his great-nephews, Levi and Dakota. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
