He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Roy Nusz, Jr. and Margaret Jean Harger Nusz; and his sister Lois Nusz. He is survived by: his daughter Lindsay Peeler (Jason); his grandchildren, Easton Peeler and Sadie Peeler; his siblings, Toni Whitten (Mike), Melvin Nusz, III (Audrey) and David Nusz (Lisa); and his pet Trouble. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334).
