She is survived by: her husband John D Murphy; her daughters, Tiffany Sally of Greenville, SC, Tracey Salters of Greer, SC, Caprice Alexander of Boiling Springs, SC, Kineka Pinckney and Pamela Alexander of Duncan, SC; her siblings, Thomasina Murphy-Mayo of Springfield, MA, Lavern Simpson of Spartanburg, SC and Alphonso Wofford (Connie) of Springboro, OH; and her aunt Earline Browning of Spartanburg, SC.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel (602 Howard St, Spartanburg, SC 29303).
