She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyce Franklin and Nancy Elizabeth Pittman Helton; her granddaughter Brianna Turner; and her brothers, Donnie Helton and Dennis Helton.
She is survived by: her husband James Terry Barrett; her children, Shane Helton (Kimberly) and Michelle McCoy (Bill); her siblings, Leon Helton and Susan Bryant; her grandchildren, Tori Helton, Destiny Stone (Justin), Hunter Key (Taylor), Jackson Helton, James McCoy, Ivorey McCoy, Hailey McCoy, Austin McCoy and Tyler McCoy; and her great grandchildren, Briar Key, River Key and Mariah Warren.
