He was predeceased by: his daughter Marlayna Stengler Johnson; his parents, Wilborn Stengler and Etta Stengler Barrow; his sister Ronda Guyewski; and his stepfather Melvin Barrow.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hargraves; his children, Heath Stengler (Amee) of Sikeston, MO, Darla Kane-Bartoli (Edward) of Mission, TX and Rachel Larke (Greg) of Greer, SC; his sister Jeri Smith (Robert) of Arlington, TX; his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Justin Johnson (Courtney), Ashleigh Hawkins (Jared), Logan Corder, Hannah Stengler, Cody Stengler and Micah Stengler; his great grandchildren, Layna Kate Johnson and Carly Marie Johnson; and his close friends, Dave Massie, Mike Baldwin (Cindy) and David Hannon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
