He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fletcher and Ollie Eskew Chapman; his wife Betty Coates Chapman; his grandson John Chapman; and his siblings, Earlene, Elizabeth, Kathrine and Charles Chapman.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas C. Chapman of Easley and David Chapman of Easley; his grandsons, Justin Chapman of Easley and Kyle Chapman of Liberty; and his great grandchildren, Elliott Chapman of Pickens and Hudson Chapman of Liberty.
